Thank you, thank you, thank you, Chris. I hate it when people don't respect the fact that this is just my personality and I don't have a desire to change it. I like people and I'm not shaking in my boots when I'm having a conversation with a stranger. However, I'm much more interested in solitary activities. I think a lot, spending a great deal of time "in my head;" but nothing is wrong with that. I've also loved to write since I was a child and that's not something you can do all that well with a bunch of people chattering around you. Introversion is as much a gift as extroversion...you just accept it, figure out it's benefits and make the best of who you are. No changing me!

Chris, you are so right! Garrison Keillor (A Prairie Home Companion radio show) has lots to say about "shy persons" -- and it's all good and all amusing. If you're not familiar with the show, you should check it out.

Booking in advance and setting a budget seem very helpful in planning a vacation. But I am still trying to find a way to clear my schedule especially if the schedule is really hectic so determining priorities is also essential in having a stress-free vacation. I agree that people often find excuses in getting a vacation even though it is a great way to improve mental health, find creative inspiration, renew relationships with your loved ones etc. Maybe I should plan my vacation for upcoming Christmas season. Thanks for the tips.

Chris, that's great!

This is definitely the best way to do it. However, if that's a screencap of your phone, I would recommend slowing down your weight loss plan to 1lb/week instead of 2. 2lbs/week is doable but sort of pushing it. It would be better to up your calories and take it more slowly. Well, unless you have a dress to fit into in a week....
But congrats on getting started on a smart, sensible plan!
