The cutting down on internet and tv (which is also accessible over the 'net) is a great idea in combination with the do something, drink more water, prioritize your goals and meet up with friends. I find when I have access to a swimming pool or lake that swimming is invigorating and refreshing both for the mind and body. Being in the water can be centering and showering and putting on clean, dry clothes afterwards confirms that sense of centeredness and personal control.

Thank you for your post!

Some really good suggestions!!! Also giving up soda and drinking plain green tea (like you suggested), carbonated water or regular water would probably solve half of the world's obesity epidemic. So many of the foods in the store are really bad for us and we need to advocate and lobby to change that.

Wow, what a great list Steve. In a less hectic world many of these would just come naturally. As it is, the reminders are certainly appreciated.
